Among the five standout presentations, Flowla emerged as the People’s Choice winner, capturing the audience's hearts and minds. We had the pleasure of sitting down with Erdem, founder and CEO of Flowla, to learn more about his company, the demo night experience, and what’s next for their journey.
The Flowla Story
Flowla is transforming how sales and customer success teams manage complex processes. "We’re building tools that simplify and elevate workflows," Erdem explained. With two years under their belt, Flowla’s product offers distinct use cases for sales and onboarding, catering to the modern challenges of customer engagement.
One of their key solutions is the “sales room,” which turns follow-up emails into dynamic deal rooms. "After a discovery call, instead of sending a standard email with a bunch of attachments, we create a centralized link containing all the materials. Even better, users can track engagement to measure intent, prioritize deals, and identify stakeholders," Erdem shared. The second use case focuses on post-sales engagement with an “onboarding hub.” This feature seamlessly organizes onboarding resources, action plans, and task collaboration, streamlining the handover process from sales to success teams.
The Demo Night Experience
Flowla’s People’s Choice win is no small feat. The December Demo Night featured some of the year’s most impressive presentations, each showcasing an exceptional level of innovation. “The intellectual energy in that room was inspiring,” Erdem reflected. “I found myself asking questions as part of the audience because the demos were so engaging.”
What set this Demo Night apart was its focus on live product demonstrations rather than traditional pitches. Erdem highlighted how this format brought authenticity to the event. "Seeing products in action felt natural. Every product needs an audience and feedback, and this setup encouraged meaningful conversations."
The event’s collaborative spirit extended beyond the stage. Erdem noted the camaraderie among founders, saying, “I met four other amazing founders, and we’re still in touch. It’s rare to find such an engaged and curious group.”
Looking Ahead
As 2025 approaches, Flowla is gearing up for its next chapter. Having successfully built an inbound-driven foundation, the team is now focused on developing outbound strategies to reach their target audience proactively. Erdem emphasized their commitment to continuous innovation, sharing that new features leveraging AI are in the pipeline.
“We now have a clear understanding of who uses our product and the value they derive from it. The next step is scaling our outreach to ensure Flowla reaches everyone who can benefit from it,” Erdem said.
A Night to Remember
Beyond the technical presentations, the magic of Demo Night lies in the connections and conversations it sparks. For Canopy’s organizing team, the ultimate KPI is how long attendees stay engaged after the demos conclude. "Two hours after the last demo, people were still deep in discussions,” Erdem said. "That speaks volumes about the event’s success."
